Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone

Getting out of your comfort zone might mean delving into social media or optimizing your SEO to boost your visibility. Where is your comfort zone holding you back? What’s preventing you from taking that leap forward? It’s crucial to look beyond ourselves and acknowledge what’s not working for us.

Embracing Change and Growth

Hello everyone, and welcome to Mentoring with Geraldine in the Bite Size Podcast. How the devil are you? Here we are at the start of May. Inside the Confident Practitioner community, renamed Strictly Education and Support, it is all about being confident as a practitioner, isn’t it?

We’ve had conversations with numerous practitioners, which will be turned into podcasts in July. Some people don’t like being on Facebook but love listening to podcasts, and the quality of the podcast is better.

When we step out of our comfort zone, how do we do that? I tell my daughter to channel someone she knows who’s good at what she wants to do. We often need to channel an idea or a concept when stepping out of our comfort zone.

One of my mentees in the 90-day program wanted to get more out there, see more people, and be more in control. She joined my 90-day program, which I limit to six people at a time to give them my time and energy. She was terrified to speak at a library, so we talked about channeling other people and feeling strong. She stepped up and did great.

Part of going out of your comfort zone is figuring out ways to do that. You might need help and support. She spoke to her GP, me, other practitioners, and did her own systems of EFT. We have to get out of our own way most of the time.

Taking Action and Finding Support

Think about what’s holding you back and stopping you. Is it really that you’re too busy? We can find time for things like a Netflix binge, so we can find time for other things too. It means recognizing what’s holding us back.

In our next podcast, we’ll talk about quieting the inner critic. For now, think about what will stretch you out of your comfort zone. For many, it’s doing a live on social media. You might not want anything to do with social media, but it’s good to have a presence. People want to check you are who you say you are.

Getting out of your comfort zone might be going to social media, posting on Google, or optimizing your SEO. Where is your comfort zone holding you back? What is stopping you from moving forward? We need to acknowledge what’s not working for us and find ways to work around these problems.

If you’re not feeling confident with clients or worried about what you’re prescribing, I’ve got a community group where we talk about our clients, and everyone helps you out. Having a supportive community is the best way to break through your comfort zone and reach the next level.

Thanks so much for joining me today. Don’t forget to rate and subscribe to the podcast for weekly episodes. If you need my help, book a focus call or email me. I always respond to my emails and love meeting people. Enjoy the rest of your day, and I know you can succeed in what you set out to do. Let me know how I can help. Bye for now.
